Huda Beauty is one of the biggest beauty brands taking the world by storm. Originally launched in 2013 by Iraqi-American beauty guru Huda Kattan, she has since gone on to become one of the ‘25 Most Influential People on the Internet’ awarded by Time magazine.
Huda rose to fame with some of her cult beauty staples such as the Huda false eyelashes, which have been worn by celebrities and influencers alike, taking the beauty brand to extreme fame, and becoming viral.
In the space of just a few years, Huda Beauty has since gone on to create foundations, lip products, eyeshadow palettes and a variety of must have beauty products loved all around the world.
Driven from a small beauty blogger, to a growing beauty empire, Huda Beauty is undoubtedly one of the biggest household names we hear today when it comes to makeup. But, is Huda Beauty cruelty Free?
Is Huda Beauty Cruelty Free?
The good news is that you can enjoy using Huda Beauty’s extensive range of products guilt free, as this brand is 100% cruelty free!
This means that none of the ingredients used in Huda Beauty products are tested on animals, and neither are the formulas, or the finished products at any point during or after production, in any part of the world.
Huda Beauty is therefore entirely cruelty free, and have confirmed that they themselves do not test their ingredients or their product range on any animals.

Is Huda Beauty Vegan?
Despite the fact that Huda Beauty is cruelty free, and employs cruelty free processes in their products, the brand is not wholly vegan friendly.
There are however, some products that are suitable as vegan friendly options, but many other products contain ingredients such as carmine and beeswax, which are animal derived and so the company itself is not 100% vegan.

In addition to this, Huda Beauty often donates to various charities and initiatives, donating $100,000 to makeup artists financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and donating $500,000 to the NAACP recently.
Huda Kattan herself states that she will stand for equality and will continue to support communities facing global injustices, so you could argue that Huda Beauty is an ethical company.
Does Huda Beauty Test On Animals?
No, Huda Beauty does not test on animals, as the company itself is 100% cruelty free. This means that Huda Beauty itself does not test on animals, nor do they pay for third parties or other authorities to test their ingredients, supplies or products on animals.
In addition, Huda Beauty is not sold in Mainland China, and therefore Huda Beauty does not even test on animals in countries where it is required by law, they simply choose not to sell their products there.
